Policy statement on the processing of personal data and processing authorisation for purposes of re-contacting and marketing to visitors of Paola Lenti Milano, via G. Bovio, 28 Milan, under the auspices of the 2025 Milano Design Week
Pursuant to article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council of 27 April 2016 relating to the protection of individuals and specifically the processing of personal data, in addition to the free movement of such data and which repeals the 95/46/EC directive (general data protection regulation or GDPR).
Data controller, purposes of processing and the main type of data processed
Paola Lenti s.r.l. (Data Controller) may need to process your personal data in your capacity as data subject solely for one or more of the following activities/cases:
1) for purposes of sending communications of interest to you by means of the newsletter service;
2) for commercial and marketing purposes through contacts involving electronic messaging, telephone or in hardcopy form;
3) to re-contact you subject to your specific request to receive information.
The personal data we process are your personal details (name, surname) and your contact data (telephone, mail, cell phone, fax) as an individual acting as a representative of a legal entity.
Primary data processing procedures
We minimize data collection and the processing of personal data to what is strictly indispensable for the purpose. Data may be processed either in hardcopy form or electronically. We adopt all necessary technical and organizational measures to minimize risks relating to loss, disclosure and confidentiality of same.
The legal basis of data-processing
The provision of personal data for the purposes referred to in points 1. and 2. is optional and requires your explicit written authorization. In order to process your data, we require your consent which you may freely grant in the manner set forth on the registration/data collection form.
Any refusal to allow processing makes it impossible to continue receiving our newsletter and/or to be contacted by us.
At any time, you may withdraw your consent to the processing of your data by clicking on the “unsubscribe” button on the email you receive should you activate the mailing service or otherwise by sending an email to the following email address: privacy@paolalenti.it
Communication or dissemination of processed data
We do not disclose or communicate your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those stated above.
Processing by third parties
in order to process your personal data for the above purposes, we may avail ourselves of third parties including:
– information technology providers used by Paola Lenti s.r.l. and telecommunications networks (Tender s.r.l. in Meda and site hosting companies);
– self-employed professionals, firms or companies providing support and consultancy services;
– authorities having jurisdiction over compliance with legal obligations and/or orders issued by public bodies, when requested;

In these cases, we decide that these parties (identified as “Data Processors”) may process your personal data solely for performing the activities assigned, which are strictly related to the purposes defined above and which comply with appropriate technical and organizational data protection measures.
Those belonging to the aforementioned categories act as Data Processor, or otherwise operate in complete autonomy as separate Data Controllers. The list of any data processors is constantly updated and available at the registered office of Paola Lenti s.r.l.. Any additional data communication or distribution shall only be undertaken once your explicit consent has been obtained.
Policy statement and exercise by the data subject of his or her rights in respect of data processing
We wish to inform you of your rights which the GDRP grants to you as data subject. These rights are set forth in article 13 of the GDPR and concern:
1) the data subject’s right to ask the Data Controller for access to their personal data;
2) the data subject’s right to ask the Data Controller to rectify or erase their data or to limit processing of same;
3) the data subject’s right to object to processing of their data;
4) the data subject’s right to data portability;
5) the data subject’s right to file a complaint with an oversight authority.
Personal data retention period and related criteria
We retain your data until you withdraw your consent to processing for the purposes referred to above.
